One message is enough

Tell me what the business does.

You do not need a brief, a budget or a plan. What you sell and who you want calling you is enough for me to tell you something useful.

WhatsApp — the fastest route

This opens a chat with the first message already written, so you only have to press send. Most conversations start and finish here.

Email

Better if you have documents, a long brief, or you would rather have it in writing.

Make the first reply useful

Four things worth putting in the message.

None of these are required. But a message with them gets a real answer straight away instead of a list of questions back.

  1. What the business sells

One line. "Custom furniture in Osogbo" is plenty.

  2. Whether you have photographs

This changes the answer more than anything else. Phone photos are fine — the last site was built entirely from them.

  3. Anything you already have

An old website, an Instagram page, a logo. Send the link even if you think it is bad — especially then.

  4. A date, if you have one

I take a small number of projects at a time, so a deadline is worth saying early rather than late.
